Even roughly. A whole-house exterior and one bedroom ceiling are different visits, and knowing which it is decides how long to set aside.

Painted or stained before, and roughly when. On wood, whether the last finish soaked in or sat on top — that one answer changes the whole scope.
Anything already going wrong
Peeling, blistering, soft wood, water stains, a spot that keeps coming back. Point at the problem rather than tidying it up first.
How to get in
Gates, dogs, where to park, and whether someone will be home. Small things, and they are what turns a visit into a wasted trip.
